Dong Yi (Hangul: 동이; hanja: 同伊) is a 2010 South Korean historical television drama series, starring Han Hyo-joo, Ji Jin-hee, Lee So-yeon and Bae Soo-bin. About the love story between King Sukjong and Choi Suk-bin, it aired on MBC from 22 March to 12 October 2010 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:55 for 60 episodes.

Dong Yi recorded solid viewership ratings in the mid-20% to 30% range, and Han won acting awards for her performance.

W (Hangul: 더블유; RR: Deobeuryu) adalah serial televisi Korea Selatan yang mengudara di MBC pada 20 Juli 2016, dibintangi Lee Jong-suk dan Han Hyo-joo. Drama ini merupakan drama pertama Han Hyo Joo di layar kaca setelah 6 tahun.

ALUR

Oh Yeon-joo (Han Hyo-joo) adalah seorang dokter bedah jantung yang ayahnya adalah seorang pencipta buku komik terkenal.

Suatu hari, ayahnya menghilang dan dia bergegas ke rumah sekaligus tempat kerja ayahnya untuk mencarinya. Namun, bukannya mencari ayahnya, dia menemukan dirinya di tempat yang berbeda di depan seorang pria bernama Kang Cheol (Lee Jong-suk) yang terbaring di lantai dan bernoda darah. Ternyata Yeon-joo pergi ke dimensi yang berbeda; dalam dunia komik dan bertemu dengan tokoh fiksi, Kang Cheol, tokoh utama dari serial komik ayah Yeon-joo.

Ketika ayah Yeon-joo memutuskan untuk membunuh karakter Kang Cheol di cerita, Yeon-joo menyelamatkan Kang Cheol.

Setelah menyelamatkan hidup Kang Cheol, ia menjadi tertarik padanya dan merasa bahwa dia adalah kunci untuk hidupnya. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, Yeon-joo mulai percaya bahwa Kang Cheol masih hidup dan dia ingin melindungi Kang Cheol dari ayahnya yang mencoba untuk membunuh karakter Kang Cheol ini. Oleh karena itu, kisah cinta antara seorang wanita dari dunia nyata dan seorang pria dari dunia komik dimulai.

Plot

Eun Ha-Won (Park So-Dam) is in the third grade of high school. She hopes to become a teacher which her late mother always wished for (her mother died in a car accident). Ha-Won has a bright personality and a strong set of morals, but she is unhappy at home. She’s unattached from her father, step-mother and step-sister and also mistreated. Ha-Won works various part-time jobs to pay for her upcoming university tuition fees. She knows she needs to make more money to pay for the storage of her mother’s ashes at the cemetery. Her mother’s ashes were recently removed because of unpaid bills.

Meanwhile, Ji-Woon (Jung Il-Woo), Hyun-Min (Ahn Jae-Hyeon) and Seo-Woo (Lee Jung-Shin) are spoiled cousins and live together in the mansion Sky House. With their different personalities – Ji-Woon is a tough guy, Hyun-Min is a playboy and Seo-Woo is a musician – they don’t like each other at all. Additionally, Ji-Woon likes Hye-Ji (Son Na-Eun) who likes Hyun-Min.

One day, their grandfather (Kim Yong-Geon) orders his 3 grandsons to attend his 5th wedding ceremony. Hyun-Min doesn’t want to go, but he hires Ha-Won for 3 hours and takes her to his grandfather’s wedding ceremony. His plan is to upstage his grandfather’s wedding ceremony with the surprise appearance of Ha-Won. There, the grandfather witnesses Ha-Won’s no-nonsense attitude towards Hyun-Min and decides to hire her as a live-in butler at the Sky House. He hopes she is able to change the ways of his grandsons.
